Now\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/La_Calavera_Catrina\"> <em>D\u00eda de los muertos<\/em> decorations<\/a>\u00a0 are on display in late September.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/festival.pueblochamber.org\/\">Chile &amp; Frijoles Festival<\/a> was last weekend, the equinox, and it&#8217;s on to the next holy day(s)!<\/p>\n<p>At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehangingtreecafe.com\/\">Hanging Tree Cafe<\/a>, it is kind of <em>D\u00eda de los muertos <\/em>every day. Today, though, I see the owner (tall guy, cowboy hat, tattoos) hanging an articulated skeleton from the ceiling of the main dining room.<\/p>\n<p>It was a very Instagramable moment, which is why I did not Instagram it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grumble grumble.
