I have a simple and literal mind, I will admit that.<\/p>\n<p>The green trees are <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pinus_ponderosa\">ponderosa pine<\/a>. But are they the <em>scopulorum <\/em>variety or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pinus_ponderosa#Subspecies_and_varieties\"><em>b<\/em><i>rachyptera<\/i><\/a>? Since I consider myself a Southwesterner residing in the former imperial province of Nuevo M\u00e9xico, I vote for the latter.
