At least <em>The Paganism Reader<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/catdir\/enhancements\/fy0650\/2003061312-d.html\">made it into the BL&#8217;s, the religion category<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But now, according to a professional librarian on one of the lists that I read, things are changing:<\/p>\n<p><em>It took them long enough&#8230;. but not nearly as long as the change from Moving pictures to Motion pictures.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone cares, here&#8217;s what the official subject heading looks like, complete with cross reference and literary warrant:<\/p>\n<p>053 0BP605.W53<br \/>150  Wicca<br \/>450  Wica<br \/>550  Neopaganism <br \/>550  Witchcraft<\/p>\n<p>And there&#8217;s now a specific LC classification number as well.
