Jeff Cooper wrote<\/a>, &#8220;We now discover that &#8220;tactical&#8221; has taken place along with &#8220;digital&#8221; as a synonym for &#8220;improved,&#8221; &#8220;more efficient,&#8221; or &#8220;better.&#8221; I suppose this is because any suggestion that any article may have fighting as its purpose is unprintable, so we see tactical flashlights, tactical clothing, and, we can expect, tactical running shoes. Well, we keep up the struggle for clarity of expression.
