{"id":763,"date":"2006-11-11T16:04:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-11T16:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=763"},"modified":"2006-11-11T16:04:00","modified_gmt":"2006-11-11T16:04:00","slug":"caught-in-the-eddy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=763","title":{"rendered":"Caught in the eddy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinyurl.com\/gkaoq\"><em>Her Hidden Children<\/em><\/a> came out last summer, I enjoyed about two months of happiness over that, but now it is time to get going on something else.<\/p>\n<p>I started research for an historical novel, and I still mean to write it, once I figure out the rhythm of fiction-writing. Publication, if ever, would be a long way away, however.<\/p>\n<p>And there was a plan for another scholarly book, but my editor at Rowman &#038; Littlefield poured cold water on that idea, mainly because it sort of fell between two horses from a marketing perspective.<\/p>\n<p>I have not abandoned the idea though, and I mean to talk with him at AAR-SBL next week. <\/p>\n<p>That leaves some book reviews that I need to do for <a href=\"http:\/\/ucpressjournals.com\/journal.asp?jIssn=1092-6690\">Nova Religio<\/a>.
