This is an excerpt from his presentation at the recent conference of the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism in Riga, Latvia. (Wish I could have been there.)<\/p>\n<p>He makes a reference to the &#8220;Canaanites&#8221; who were <em>not <\/em>reconstructionists. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canaanism\">That would be these &#8220;Canaanites<\/a>.&#8221; Note that some members were fighters in the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Irgun\">Irgun<\/a> \u2014 and there is apparently a story there from the days of the Israeli struggle for independence.
