But since there are “honorable mentions” as well, you get more!<\/p>\n

Obvious choices (Rosemary\u2019s Baby<\/em>,\u00a0The Exorcist<\/em>), as well as films that present the subject\u00a0in an exploitative manner (such as those of Dario Argento) have been left out\u2026 as have the Harry Potter<\/em>\u00a0movies, because that\u2019s just too easy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The list starts with H\u00e4xen: Witchcraft through the Ages<\/em><\/a> (1922), and I have to say that that was one I quit half way through because I was falling asleep. Maybe Twenties audiences were different. But there is a YouTube video linked, and you can see for yourself.<\/p>\n

They have Jean Cocteau’s Blood of a Poet<\/em><\/a>, but give his Orpheus <\/em><\/a>just an honorable mention. I would have reversed them!<\/p>\n
