But before you index a book, you need to strategize about the book&#8217;s purpose as well as the reader&#8217;s needs, something discussed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.backwordsindexing.com\/Novice\/Process.html\">at this site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 &#8220;Hare&#8217;s breath escape&#8221; is just one of many &#8220;dreadful phrases&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/nielsenhayden.com\/makinglight\/archives\/007425.html#007425\">collected by Teresa Nielsen Hayden<\/a>. Rose at Buzz, Balls, and Hype wonders <a href=\"http:\/\/nielsenhayden.com\/makinglight\/archives\/007425.html#007425\">if writers should also be bloggers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>When it comes to writing, the most important job we all have is to write our books. If we don\u2019t put our best effort there we aren\u2019t doing our jobs. No author should sacrifice writing time for blogging time or promotion time if it\u2019s going to weaken the book.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Of course, she&#8217;s a novelist&#8211;and she blogs. <\/p>\n<p><em>Don\u2019t get me wrong \u2013 there\u2019s nothing wrong with having a blog geared to your peers.
