{"id":647,"date":"2006-04-13T02:59:00","date_gmt":"2006-04-13T02:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=647"},"modified":"2013-01-21T19:48:40","modified_gmt":"2013-01-22T02:48:40","slug":"647","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=647","title":{"rendered":"Gallimaufry: Tab Clearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having been knocked down by a head cold the past week, I am just cleaning out some old links.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Should you use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prairieghosts.com\/digital.html\">digital cameras for ghost-hunting<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>I notice that a lot of the ghost-hunting articles in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fatemag.com\"><em>Fate<\/em> magazine<\/a> count &#8220;orbs&#8221; as evidence of spirits. But are they just artifacts of the digital photographic process?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 I think I want to read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakingopenthehead.com\/\"><em>Breaking Open the Head<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a similar vein, I recently bought <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dale_Pendell\">Dale Pendell&#8217;s latest<\/a>, <em>Pharmako\/Gnosis<\/em>, and it is another stunning combination of entheogenic analysis, poetry, and pharmacology.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 You won&#8217;t find &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/vsf.blogs.com\/driving_audhumla\/2005\/08\/viisiting_pagan.html\">Paganistan<\/a>&#8221; here, but these <a href=\"http:\/\/www.valpo.edu\/geomet\/geo\/courses\/geo200\/religion.html\">religious-affiliation maps<\/a> are interesting.<\/p>\n<p>I note from the low affiliation counts in counties that match the Navajo and Hopi reservations in Arizona and much of the Lakota reservations in South Dakota that tribal religions were not censused either. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.valpo.edu\/geomet\/pics\/geo200\/religion\/episcopal.gif\">This map&#8217;s<\/a> concentration of Episcopalians in western South Dakota, however, is the result of that church&#8217;s presence on the various reservations.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bloggers like to note odd Google searches that brought readers to their blogs.
