{"id":536,"date":"2005-10-14T22:50:00","date_gmt":"2005-10-14T22:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=536"},"modified":"2005-10-14T22:50:00","modified_gmt":"2005-10-14T22:50:00","slug":"536","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.chasclifton.com\/?p=536","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Both product and producer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An interesting post on &#8220;creating a scholarly voice&#8221; from <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.lib.umn.edu\/archives\/perry032\/impossible\/voice_lessons.html\">Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><em>Sometimes something akin to &#8220;scholarly voice&#8221; is discussed in the context of the need for scholars to &#8220;brand&#8221; themselves. That is, it is thought that academics must develop and maintain a unique, immediately recognizable identity for themselves and their work.
