Now I have.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Here&#8217;s a short list of things we could do if we brought back the Greek gods:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022 Go to oracles.<br \/>\n\u2022 Go on quests.<br \/>\n\u2022 Fight monsters.<br \/>\n\u2022 Challenge gods to contests.<br \/>\n\u2022 Go to Hades and try to rescue dead loved ones.<br \/>\n\u2022 Dip babies in magic rivers, making them invulnerable.<\/p>\n<p>Now, not all of those are good ideas \u2014 most of them are insanely dangerous \u2014 but man, they&#8217;re still a hell of a lot more exciting than sitting in church for an hour every Sunday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/io9.com\/5974126\/can-we-bring-the-greek-gods-back-please?utm_source=io9.com&amp;utm_medium=recirculation&amp;utm_campaign=recirculation\">Read the rest.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This went around a couple of weeks ago, but\u00a0 I never blogged it.
