He had suffered from chronic illness for many years and was on morphine for pain relief.<\/p>\n<p>His new book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toteg.com\/advance.html\"><em>So You Wannabe a Shaman, Huh?<\/em><\/a>, was just about to be published. That title expresses something of his personality: cantankerous but with a lot to say.<\/p>\n<p>His autobiography is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toteg.com\/warts.html\">online<\/a>, and I urge you to read it.
