It made me feel less alone, and came with the added benefit of my parents, bosses, and school bullies not knowing it existed, which meant that it felt private and safe in a way that Facebook never will. It was an archive\u2014a testament to the weird, wonderfulness of the community I was just getting to know, and would come to devote my life to.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I admit that I made only modest use of <em>The Witches&#8217; Voice<\/em>, answering occasional emails from people trying to make connections in Colorado.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11119\" style=\"width: 290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11119\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11119\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.chasclifton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/paganspace.png?resize=280%2C103&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"103\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.chasclifton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/paganspace.png?w=280&amp;ssl=1 280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/blog.chasclifton.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/paganspace.png?resize=150%2C55&amp;ssl=1 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-11119\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The new Pagan Space logo.<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Meanwhile,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/paganspace.net\/\">Pagan Space\u00a0<\/a> is back, with a slogan &#8220;Be You, Be Pagan!&#8221; and this pitch: &#8220;Would you consider inviting your Facebook friends to a community just for Pagans that does not censor your speech or sell your private data?&#8221; They have chat rooms, a marketplace, pages (in the Facebook sense), and so on.
