Very nice article. What happened to The Magical Childe? When Slater died did the shop close? I used to buy things from him when it existed in the late 60s, early 70s.
A New York friend who wishes to remain anonymous writes, “It lasted a couple of years until his heirs snorted the remains of the estate. I know no further details.”
