The trouble with book lists — like this list of “27 essential Pagan books” — is that no two readers’ lists are the same.
On the other hand, I am pretty pleased with number 16.
And I am happy to see Michael Strmiska getting some recognition too.

Congratulations sir! I would have put the expanded Aradia on the list, and Sacred Mask as well. Some of the inclusions surprise and boggle me, like Artisson for example. I’d like to see some stats on the voting.
I don’t think that there was any voting — it was just the writer’s own evaluation.
I’m just pleased to see all the conversations starting, because my request list at the library has now tripled. 🙂
