René Gründer shared a link to a monograph series that includes work on contemporary Paganism and shamanism. Information in English, but the books themselves are available only in German.

Thanks! I’m looking forward to reading the one English article… although I’m a bit surprised by the following statement from the abstract:
“It analyzes the relation of the thesis of Interpretive Drift (Luhrmann) and the concept of Coming Home Experience, which have a big impact on academic discussions and are often seen as mutually
contradictory.”
Are they really seen as contradictory so widely in academia? His thesis that they are complementary is certainly borne out by my own experiences…
